The Appaloosa Performance Horse (or Performance Horse) mold was introduced in 1974 and has the round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp and the "U.S.A." stamp. Some also have the "B" mold stamp. In 2013 Breyer offered a model with a custom tail for the BreyerFest live auction, but it's not known if this tail will be seen again. The mold was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #99.
