El Pastor
The El Pastor mold was introduced in 1974 and is a portrait model of Paso Fino Foundation Sire El Pastor. The mold has had an assortment of mold marks, beginning with the round "Breyer Molding Co." and "U.S.A." stamps. Following that, in the late 1970s some models appeared with a "Hecho en Mexico" (Made in Mexico) stamp instead of the "U.S.A." mark. Following this the mold returned to only the "Breyer Molding Co." stamp with traces of the "U.S.A." stamp. The model was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #61.
A symbol means that I don't yet have a picture of that model. If you can help, please see the Help Wanted section. Clicking on any photo below will open a larger version of that picture.
