Hanoverian

 

The Hanoverian mold was introduced in 1980 with the round "Breyer Molding Co." stamp, and early models have the "B" stamp as well. Until 1994 the mold also had an "H" brand engraved on the near thigh. Because this mold is pretty unstable, the near hind hoof is sometimes pared down flat by Breyer to make the mold stand up better. The Hanoverian was sculpted by Chris Hess and is Breyer mold #58.
